For $24 more you can get a pair of 6.0ah HO batteries on another recent deal here. Not a fan of these 5ah batteries myself. Had a bad experience with these last November. Brand new and had the "3 bars of death" out of the box. Tried to to revive them by jumpering a good battery and seemed to work, but only for one cycle. Returned them and a very nice lady at the home depot in Tampa got me a pair of the 6.0 in the exchange.

Your 5 finger discount is slick, but only if po po don't catch you.

I thought the general consensus is that the 6's have more issues long term than the 5's?

The general consensus is that batteries are mass produced in millions for millions of products. These "fail" at the same rate as any other battery. Here I am with 10 of the 5.0 aH batteries and I've been just happy with all. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That's objectively not true. The 8.0's have been a nightmare for a number of people. Read the complaints online.

A good deal use to be $10 per AH. I got 2 of these for $94.56 exactly 2 years ago from FAO.

You can also buy adapters to convert these batteries to other brands.
