I'd look for a finer mesh if you want to catch smaller flies as well

I'm not statistician or physics major, but what are the chances of a fly or gnat making it through without touching the inner electric net?

Perfect for the invasive spotted lanternflies in the Mid-Atlantic states.

* At 3000 volts, this might be at the low end.

CoPilot:
Most racket-style zappers max out around 4000–4200 volts, which is more than enough to instantly fry mosquitoes, flies, and other flying pests.

Top Features to Consider
1. High Voltage Output (3000V–4200V)
More voltage = faster kill rate.
Ideal for mosquitoes, flies, gnats, and even wasps.

2. Rechargeable Battery
USB charging is super convenient.
Avoids the hassle and cost of replacing AA batteries.

3. Triple-Layer Safety Mesh
Prevents accidental shocks.
Especially important if kids or pets are around.

4. Built-in UV Light or Mosquito Lamp Mode
Attracts bugs even when you're not swinging.
Some models double as stationary zappers.

** Pickle version, 3800 volts:

Perfect! Just make sure you learn the rules before you start, like no jump spikes in the kitchen. Otherwise, these are great beginner paddles. Good time to join in the pickleball craze šŸ˜

I have the same ones from Amazon, 3000v.
We like to take ours on our nightly walks to wave the gnat clouds out from front of us at dusk.

We use them in the house too- It does not work on flies (the first time). It stuns them, they fly away and you have to get them a second time.
