Spend the extra $120 and grab the TCL Q7 on sale at Best Buy. It's a FAR superior TV. 144hz, FALD, much brighter, better image processing, etc. It's double the value of TV in OP in every way.

I'm assuming you're talking about the QM5K, which is definitely NOT a better TV than the Q7. Just because it has a mini-led doesn't mean it's a better TV. It's only 60hz, has fewer dimming zones, is a MUCH dimmer TV, etc. The Q7 is similar in performance to the QM6K.

The Q7 is a better TV than the Roku Pro. The Roku TV has extremely poor image processing and motion handling. The Roku might edge the Q7 out in picture quality while watching 4k Blu-rays, but that's about it. When streaming, the Roku looks pretty bad due to its subpar image processing. There's also the fact that Roku is now pushing ads on its TV's, even if you're using a separate streaming box.

Interesting. I haven't seen either in person. Looking forward to it though. Somehow got a circle burned into the current tv and it's driving me crazy.
