50% 'bonus' would equate to 33% off, this is better.

I think what he meant was that the app had a 40% bonus promotion when you purchase credits in-app, which equates to 31% off. Aside from a higher discount, I think this Costco deal is better given that the minimum purchase in app is $499.Also, using your Costco credit card gives you 2% cash back if that's a kicker for anyone.
However you can get a 4% back on a cc with restaurant cash backs if you have one, which is higher than Costco's. It is coded as "restaurant".

Is it true that you cannot use these gift cards (InKind Cash?) with promos like $25 off $50 that Inkind often runs?

If it is the case, it makes the deal worthless, at least for me. I go to InKind restaraunts only bc of those promos

I'm very new to this and only eaten twice using the app. But I think the GC cash is treated like the 20% cash back you get, which can be used as payment form instead of using your cc. So it DOES work with the $$ off $$$ promos.

There were multiple DPs on a different deal site that report otherwise

Not only can you not combine it with the 20% back, you cannot even "stack" it with their $25 off $50 promos. So, dont dream of using this gift card to pay the rest of the bill after $25 off. It is not even stacking, gift cards should be treated as cash, not as a promo.
You actually can, inKind cash and inKind cash back are treated as separate balances so you can use inKind cash (this deal) with the promos but you cannot use inKind cash back with the promos.

I'm waiting for $60. It wasn't that long ago when they had that promo.
Regular price of the gift card increased from $70 to $75 a few months ago, so I wouldn't expect to see discounted version to be $60 ever again.

If they're on the list. There should be no problem. Also, all you have to do is get the check number and do everyone through the app. You don't need to tell your server. It's super convenient.
Thanks! They are on the list and the in-laws love the Tam and Lawry's. I generally think they are overpriced, so this can mitigate that a little. Anything to keep them happy! laugh out loud
Is there any surcharge added in the app?

They're all 3 on the list. I haven't had any problems in LA using it at any restaurant listed in the app.
Great! Thanks! Did you find any good restaurants on the LA list? I looked at it before asking and was familiar with only a few places. They have some casual spots that I like at the Farmer's Market, but I am open to any suggestions!
Also, are there any mandatory surcharges that the app adds? I used the Entertainment card back in the dark ages (this card seems a bit like that) and some places started adding 20% on top of tax and tip so I stopped using it.

Best discount I have seen in some time. Make sure there are enough restaurants in your area for this to be useful.

there's a "get 20% back", does that stack if we use the GC from Costco?can we use this for take out?

I stacked a gift card last week with $50 off $150 offer and my girlfriend stacked another gift card with $25 off $50 on Saturday... the offers work with your gift card balances. It's the main reason we buy the gift cards because they offer so many promos you can stack.

Noticed the offer before seeing the thread and figured it would be posted already. Great deal!

Yes, so much better than worrying about earning the 20% which expire anyway. I have $500 loaded in my balance and I am single so it will last me a long time. Have to start focusing on going to inKind restaurants. Wish there were more.

There are no surcharges in the app and you don't need to tell your server before you pay with app so they can't really add anything on (you open the app, type in the receipt number and pay)... but there is one quirk in that you can't use gift card balance for tip so you pay tip in-app with credit card (I suppose you could pay that with cash if you have it).

It's been $60 before for $100 but that was last year and prob increased the $5 due to inflation.
