Apparently this model, is prone to overheating and early failure. The 60V model, albeit a bit more expensive is very durable and worth it.

I had this model and it broke. didn't want to buy it again no matter the price. my research recommended buying a string trimmer with the motor towards the handle, not at bottom where all the action is.
