the app has 2 AC charge settings High and Low (set by Oupes) -- NOT adjustable in the same way as Ecoflow app. Ecoflow has much better controls.

More power = more batteries. More batteries = more weight.

Honest question, i read that oupes support said that if we use the pass through that it would shorten the lifespan of the batteries. Anyone have any opinion to why that would be the case? it doesn't seem that oupes is build as well as say Anker as far as product design in terms of how it works electronically.

Or maybe they're just more honest? I legit don't know.

Can you program it so that it recharges during the day only ( from 9 am to 6pm)?

not as much, i have mine set to the "low" and that charges at ~800w-1000w. the high can go i think up to 1850w (tried once, but it tripped my apartment's circuit breaker)?

haha, yes, i tried to use it with a tp-link smart switch, and it works pretty well. (just lower it to the low ac charging mode)

Not to thread crap at all, but just fyi for those who don't know much about this stuff... this is 256 amp hours. You could get two 150Ah batteries for roughly $200 each plus a very solid inverter for $200 and have a 300Ah system for ~$600. Yes, this Oupes is much sleeker and sexier and way more mobile.

With that said, I've had an Oupes 2400 for two years and it's a champ. Zero issues. I'd buy from them again if I didn't want to build my own (and they are $578 on Walmart's site right now, about half what I paid two years ago).

How is the fan noise on the Oupes 2400 in passthrough mode?
