Seriously thinking about getting this - its one of the few laptops that comes with a 2TB SSD, a 3K OLED screen and 32gb memory. Only 2 reviews on BB but both are very positive.

I saw the 14" version on display. Very well build laptop.

Really wish this has dGPU.

Will consider when it drops under 1k.

Not bad.
I was about to pull the trigger on this Micro Center deal on a comparable Omnibook 7 Flip: https://www.microcenter.com/produ...r-aluminum
But this BB Omnibook X Flip deal is cheaper and has 2tb SSD vs 1TB on the 7 Flip. I like the color of the BB X Flip more too. The only thing the 7 Flip has over the X Flip is weight. 3.95lbs vs 4.15 lbs. Not huge difference but still there.

Does anyone know how the Omnibook X build quality compares to the Omnibook 7 which are often on sale at Costco?

I don't have any experience owning these laptops, but I looked around a lot for comparison reviews and this one from youtube did a really extensive comparison between the X and 7, including build quality:

Hope that helps

These Lunar Lake 2 CPUs have shockingly decent graphics for what they are, and you likely won't see a 4-performance-core CPU paired with any real boy GPUs ever. IMO this laptop is a perfect blend of what you'd want in a non-gaming laptop, and can actually do some gaming as well

The 4lb weight is unfortunate. Good deal for the specs.

For me its missing numpad. It is a 16' laptop, I dont know why keyboard must be that small?
I dont even like that speaker setup much either.
This color looks better than the gray one though. Instead of i9 maybe and i7 and 1 tb ssd would suffice for most people including me. Lets see if that drops to $1000, perhaps the Samsung version of 258v.

Are there upward firing speakers behind the grills on keyboard deck or are they vents (or just a design feature)? How is the sound from internal speakers?

I don't think we should pay over $700 for lunar lake in any configuration.

The whole product line has been canceled. It's in a dubious support position on part of the intel software team, and the driver still have quite alot of bugs.
