search on SAM'S CLUB, there you'll see earn 50 points per $1 on NEW Sams membership offer. On their coupons listing for Sams (scroll down) you'll also see this offer, $35 sam's cash with new $50 one year membership.

Click on that, purchase your membership.

You will earn 2500 Swagbucks worth $25 redemption dollars towards gift cards like a $25 Visa or Mastercard or Amazon.

You'll also earn the $35 in Sam's Cash deposited into your Sam's account about 3 days after you purchase your membership.

The Swagbucks earnings takes about 30 days to be 'mature' to cash it out.

There are constantly deals. They aren't always posted on SD but there is pretty much always a $20 standard membership, or $60 Plus membership offer if you just do some quick googling.

I do the same thing, put one last order in before my membership expires then the next time I need to place an order I just go find one of the discounts.

Done this many years now and have a couple of questions:
1/ Last year Sams membership desk pressured me to get the app for easy checkout experience and I refused; however, Sams membership had no membership cards in stock and I had to come back maybe 4 times before they had any cards in stock (wasted some time standing in line to get temp membership slips to shop).
Also, I would think if you used the app for 2023 membership, the app would would trigger some type of 2024 system alert that you are a returning member with a slightly different spelled name and it would flag you as ineligible to open up a new 2024 discounted "membership account"?
Any thoughts on this?
2/ Can somebody list that Gmail naming hack where you slightly change the name to show the current years sam's account?
Sorry this is the only time of year I do this and can't recall how it goes....something like: [email protected].
Thanks in advance!

I had these instructions in the op, but it was buried :
Use Gmail's "+ trick" to create a custom email for this signup. Example: if your email is [email protected], you could sign up as [email protected]. Gmail will still deliver messages to your main inbox, but Sam's Club treats it as a new email address. This makes it easy to filter, track, or organize messages from different signups.

I have an active membership and I tried to create a new one with different email and a slight change of my name but it still tells me that my info is already on a membership. Do I need to use a different physical address as well? I didnt before. I also tried to change my address on my existing membership but it wont let me.

My membership expired in July and this is how I got the deal to work:
I used a different email (normal gmail with +sams)
I removed my cc from my old account
I used a different phone number (google voice number)

My home address is the same and I added my wife on there with the same phone # as before and it still worked

Thanks, took a few tries, I had to change my name as well by a letter new email, phone, and CC. Finally worked.

I plan on getting their higher level membership, but I've never been a Sam's customer before. do they have the same thing as Costco? or if you don't really utilize the membership you can return it at any time for a full refund?

I don't know if I'm going to be buying some stuff from Sam's club because I may otherwise just get it from Costco. I don't even know how much shipping would be on the regular tier membership. but if I ended up not going through it with it, I would prefer a refund of the membership (especially the more expensive version of the membership).

I also want to point out that Sam's Club's Member's Mark products are typically 15-25% cheaper than Costco's Kirkland equivalents and is generally cheaper than Costco on other comparable items too.

Members Mark might be 25% cheaper than Kirkland but they are also 50% or more inferior. The quality of Kirkland is way better than Member's Mark. It's almost not a fair comparison.

My last membership was 04/23 and I used a new CC and Email but it still said "you look familiar". Gave me only 2 options, to say "No, new" or "renew existing". I said "new" and completed my new membership in 30 seconds. At the Checkout it just said "Promotion applied". I'll find what was applied in about 3 days!

Agreed. I have a Costco membership and used to have the free (after discounts) Sams for many many years and for most items I could justify the longer drive to Costco because it was better quality. Costco also has a great return policy. I had been looking for a free Sams offer too but this is the cheapest I've seen in a while.

MM products being 50% or more inferior to Kirkland products is an outright lie and YOUR personal opinion. There are a few products from both MM and Kirkland that are complete crap compared to other brands but for the most part both are very comparable and MM has had much better items than Kirkland in some cases. And this is coming from a person who has both memberships and extensively buys both product lines and cherry picks the best product for the need and taste.

Thanks, Repped! My Swagbucks account had actually been deactivated, but they activated it again. If you want the Plus membership, there's a similar offer for $110 with $60 back, making it $50. Also eligible for Swagbucks.

Thanks this worked. They already even sent notification about the $35 in Sam's Cash.

Weirdly there were a lot of options that try to get you to select "renew" when signing up (if you have an email address with an old account already on file). Make sure you keep selecting the option for a New Account or this won't generate a $35 store credit on the account.
