Yes I see that, but other than the size, and extra 400kWh, is there really any difference? The price difference is fairly large. I.e. is there any real reason to pick the new battery and pay extra?
The DP3 battery is designed to neatly stack on the DP3, vs the relatively clunky DP battery, which also has a dated, unmatched styling. I think that ecoflow just allowed the older battery to be compatible as a way of encouraging DP users to upgrade to a DP3 while being able to use existing extra batteries. Outside of this weird refurb bundle deal I think most people would prefer to have the newer "matching" battery.
