Agreed, it's a perplexing build design for home users...

I have this and use it on the floor for my videography setup with a ton of USB-C powered equipment. It makes life a million times easier.

I have this and I did wall mount it as a home user. But I can't stand how the showcased diagnostic screen times out to the silly "Sabrent" logo. You can hold the button down to turn the screen off but I find it incredibly lame that you can keep the diagnostic screen on even while in use.

Bought it last time when it was this price. Awesome. Use it constantly. The charging screen is very helpful and the overcharge protection works like a charm.

I bought a 10ft right angled power cable and it became a non-issue.If you wanted to go a step further, you could mount it to a stand and route the cable out the back. With a desk that has holes for cables, it would actually look cleaner than most chargers.

You can get the diagnostic screen back by hitting the button once. But I have the opposite complaint. I'd rather the screen go black instead of displaying the Sabrent logo, which will undoubtedly be burnt into the screen.

I want to buy this so badly, but I have no need for it. While are chargers so alluring?

Looks like it would work pretty well mounted up on a desk-mounted pegboard if you didn't want to drill or command-strip it to your wall

Yeah, it's an easy button press but I find myself just leaving the screen black now. I really have no idea why they chose to display the Sabrent logo over all things.

Branding, most likely. You can probably flash it with a different logo but I haven't opened it up to see if there's any accessible pins.

Side note: The new SD Android app SUCKS. Hitting enter doesn't automatically create a new line anymore and all my comments are permanently sorted weird.

I have a side counter top area in the kitchen that we usually use as the landing pad for everything in our hands coming home. That's also where we charge most of the handhelds. I had an old RJ-11 wall plate that is shockingly no longer in use so I actually drilled the bracket onto that after disconnecting and tucking the wires. Now it sits nice and flush on the wall next to an outlet that I can neatly plug in and fold the remaining cord underneath the unit.

I am laughing so hard at at least three different product photos . The top SD comment says that bottom cord outlet is a messy nightmare for being on a desk. Great only if wall hanging.

But in the Amazon product photos, they show it STANDING UP ON ITS BOTTOM on a desk!! Which you cannot possibly do, but they did it anyway just to make the photo look aesthetically pleasing in a way the product is actually not. 😂

Then check out the extreme custom length USB cables they just happen to have for every single device to lay out in the most aesthetically pleasing manner haha GIVE ME A BREAK that happens NEVER.

And to make that photo worse, the left side shows an utterly laughable pile of identical useless generic power cords in a total rat's nest. 🤣

Even the top review on the page says "Quality product in a class by itself"! Who says that?! I can't think of a single time in my entire life that I've ever heard anyone use that phrase except a magazine cover.

But did you see the real review with 22 Likes that docks a star for the annoying display timeout that forcibly reverts to a "useless company logo" after some seconds?? That's the real stuff
