I do that in a Mr Beams motion sensor light that uses 4 d cells. I have some adapters that each take 3 AA rechargeables. They last about a week in winter, and I rotate two sets. I have an Opus and 2 SkyRc chargers so that is not a problem. Mostly just tired of 12 batteries every week in and out of the adapters and 12 in and out of chargers. Eneloops work the best but since i rotate a lot I get to see them hit their max cycles and they die hard.

So, getting two sets of these to try rotating in with the adapters.

Just be aware that Alkaline D cell batteries typically have a milliampere-hour (mAh) capacity ranging from 12,000 to 18,000 mAh so these have significantly less capacity.

It's even worse than that. These are 7500 mwh not mah so these are like 5000 mah not 7500 mah
