Just FYI, the movement is a modified Valjoux 7750, not an in-house movement. The Breitling name is definitely nice but you can get Valjoux 7750-based watches for much cheaper.

Good price, I agree. But buying an expensive watch from Joma should be considered as equal to buying on used watch market. The watch might actually be new, but you'll have no support, and if something goes wrong, you're SOL. If you agree with that, it's a good deal for Breitling Superocean.

Licensed dealers will still work on a grey market watch--it just won't have a warranty.

Great looking watch but at 44mm diameter, 15.5mm thickness, and 52mm+ lug-to-lug, it's a chonker.

I have the sporty cousin to this watch - purchased from an ad because I'm a little leery of grey - and it's been fantastic. One of mine I wear the most frequently. Highly recommend. Fwiw, it's also available at js for much less than I spent

I've heard others say this over the years but I've never had any issues. I've purchased ~12 watches from Joma and have to send 2 back for warranty work (Joma provides an 2yr warranty on all new watches) and don't have any complaints. In my experience, the discount over MSRP is worth not having the manufacturer warranty.
I've had my eye on this exact watch for a long time so I'm definitely in for 1!
