No problem with ice at times. I just want my Samsung upright fridge/freezer to stay closed (door keeps opening), and it randomly thaws out.

just got this fridge and we like it so far. very intuitive and connects to everything around the house (ring, thermostat, etc). fully aware of the quality concerns with Samsung, so will see how it lasts, but so far pretty happy with it.
just curious why you need wifi on your fridge?

so there's a camera that detects what you put in and what you take out. also lets you see inside your fridge if you connect it to the Samsung SmartThings app its pretty accurate most of the time actually. i don't really use it, but it does work.

I have a Samsung Bespoke fridge for a couple of years. No issues. The water pitcher comes in super handy when you are filling up large water bottles. My previous Samsung had issues with the ice maker being in the main fridge portion which cause water condensation to constantly freeze and break the fan. With the ice in the freezer, no such issues so far.

For those who are buying this, be sure to add a second appliance to take $200 off from the buy more save more event. It takes $100 off the fridge and $100 off the second appliance. So if you don't need anything, you can grab the $200 microwave for free and sell that.

Be careful! They all look perfect but service was totally broken on their end until recently. The washer and dryer are working fine so far but only 17 months! The dryer had multiple repairs and works fine. Every refrigerator we have bought from them has had ice maker issues.
It's cheaper to buy online but if you are military, it would be better to buy through AAFES link to Home Depot and get the extended warranty.

I got one of those pop up coupons while it was sitting in the cart for $150 off. It stacked with the $250 coupon. My total was $1418.98 before taxes and extra warranty. Thanks OP.

If Samsung refrigerators are so bad, which brand/model do you recommend? Whirlpool is what I got and they have repairs every year...

Samsung is total garbage
The ice makers are problematic so you can basically expect them to quickly fail or become annoying and glitchy. BUT the compressors are relatively reliable and overall it's tough to beat them from a features/size for the price perspective so they're still the top selling refrigerator brand in the US. Just don't expect reliable ice making lol.
