I thought the reviews of this TV were really bad but rtings.com has a 6.9 overall which isn't bad at all for this price. I may get one for my porch. Hopefully I'll get a few years out of it.

I've had bad luck with every insignia TV I've owned. I've had maybe 4 before I gave up on them, and all 4 had the same issue with the backlight going bad. Yeah they're great for the price but expect to replace after a year or 2.

I have 5 Insignia TVs in different places as secondary TVs about 6 years old and none have gone bad, but none of them are smart TVs. Their small TVs can take some physical abuse, and the full size remotes keep working.

I have an Insignia 43" F30 series that I have been using for over 2 years now. It has been a great TV so far.

Very slick.

Can anyone who has this tv confirm that you can side load fire apps like tivimate?

Wow this is perfect timing. My son's tv just went out. It's completely black. He had a 50 inch Sharp flat screen for 10 years. Hopefully this one gives us a good run.

I got one similar to this deal a few months ago and just added the $30 geek squad protection for peace of mind. Easy peasy
