Has anyone dealt with cancelling 24 hour fitness and gotten any decent retention offers lately? In the past, I've been told by friends to cancel your account a month out and you'll get multiple people contacting you over the course of those 4 weeks.
I have a renewal at the end of the month and it's a weird scenario, took a new job so I really can only use that gym on the weekends, it's not worth it for 240 a year for me for a place I can only use some of the time. If they offered me a lesser plan for just weekends or something, that would be decent.
They act like they dont have retention offers at all, so I guess they're just telling me to go to a competitor. I could have sworn in prior years they totally wheeled and dealed to keep your business, but it doesn't seem that way now!
