all of the specs are effectively the same until you get to the os updates. the edge+ is only getting 3 updates from 2023. and the s25fe will have android 23/ one ui 15. different world over there.
the chip is also better on the s25fe. only downside here is the storage.

this is the edge+ final year of os update. it is already eol

They're giving $400 for the S24 FE towards the S25 FE right now.
Oh! But they don't list it as accepted on the S25 Ultra page.

How do I unlock Motorola?
The Moto Edge Plus 2023 can be unlocked through a website called i-imei. There is also a person selling unlock codes in the thread.

Someone mentioned this unlocks after 365 days even with only 1 month paid service. Do you have to initiate a request with Metro or does it auto unlock?

Marginally.... but it only has 128gb of storage...

Maybe it's just me, but I think 128GB today is like 32GB of just a few years ago.... IOW.... Rock bottom....

I'm OK with 256GB right now, but that won't last....

Get a free google voice # and then pay $3 to port out immidiately.

To port a Google Voice number, provide your 10-digit Google Voice number as the account number, your voicemail PIN as the PIN, and 94043 as the zip code if your carrier requests one; if a zip code is requested, they might also accept Google's physical address (1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043) if they need it for the full address field.

Number can not be coming from GV, NumberBarn or an existing T-mobile based carrier to qualify for port-in promotional price.

Honestly, the Moto Edge Plus deal is better, on account of the phone being instantly unlockable.
If you don't need it unlockable....isn't the S25FE a much better phone?
the camera on the Samsung S25FE is MUCH better, support much better vs the Moto. Resale is much higher too. http://www.techradar.com/phones/s...-fe-review

They will for the S26U. Usually has to be out 6 months to a year. I can't get anyone to take my Pixel 9a right now.

Whats the cheapest option to buy a phone number to port in. Apparently if i am using a google voice no. It goes through the check but after adding the $65 plan the price of the handset increases to $199.

Resale is actually lower, since the S25 FE is locked to Metro for a year, whereas the Edge Plus 2023 is unlocked...

Maybe trade in will be better, once that starts.

so there is a fee for a less expensive plan, but not for cancelling the plan entirely?

Correct. Meaning you can buy this phone with a number you don't care about that your proted in, swap esn/cancel plan entirely/port out and use this phone on a new number/your real number that you port in/etc on the $25/m plan.
