all of the specs are effectively the same until you get to the os updates. the edge+ is only getting 3 updates from 2023. and the s25fe will have android 23/ one ui 15. different world over there.
the chip is also better on the s25fe. only downside here is the storage.

this is the edge+ final year of os update. it is already eol

My iPhone 14 is my daily driver with 128 gb. I have 45 gb free so it works fine for me.

Just ordered, will see whether it works on T-mobile, and will report back.
Not sure about this phone exactly, but I ordered the s25 from metro and was able to use it with Tmobile the moment I got it. What I did was place my sim into it before turning it on and not activate it on metros website. This immediately booted the phone with Tmobile's splash screen instead of metro, I went to metro and activated the sim, and just turned it off on the phone. Have been using Tmobile sim for over a week now. Not sure if it's considered activated on metro for unlocking in 365 days, but so far has been usable with Tmobile's sim. YMMV

Thanks. The Samsung S25 seems to be different than the Moto G Stylus 25. Reports in that thread saying the phone locked back to Metro once the Metro SIM is activated.

I believe they try to do esim on all phones going forward now because back then you can just slip in a T-Mobile SIM and it'll never boot into Metro if you never inserted the Metro SIM.

I was worried about it locking back to Metro as well, because it did install some Metro apps, but disabling the Metro esim and having restarted the phone and having to restart it for updates hasn't changed the boot screen from T-Mobile. SIM still works with T-Mobile. but maybe I just got lucky of course.

How long did you wait after the first phone delivered and activated? Also, did you put any usage on the first phone, i.e. texting, calling, and downloading?
