all of the specs are effectively the same until you get to the os updates. the edge+ is only getting 3 updates from 2023. and the s25fe will have android 23/ one ui 15. different world over there.
the chip is also better on the s25fe. only downside here is the storage.

this is the edge+ final year of os update. it is already eol

ok, after a few hours of messing with S25FE and T mobile Sim card, I finally got it to work again. I know some of you probably don't believe me. see my screenshot, I blurred my numbers but you can see the 5G with Tmobile sim on and Metro off, no wifi... I also tested internet on youtube and message worked as well.
Thanks, idk if I need 1 since I already have the s24fe. Lol

Is there any chance a Mint sim card would work the same way as a T-mobile one, since Mint is a TMo MVNO? Would be cool if I could use this phone with Mint during the year it's locked.

select the Tmobile network, and it should pop a message along the line "registering on Tmobile network", The first time i got this phone to work was last night till 11am in the morning when I switch the sim to Moto Stylus, it didn't work at first. Then I put it back into S25FE and it wasn't working so I kept messing with it, I noticed the "registering on Tmobile network" message. It eventually started working, but it stopped working around 2 hour or so.. So far I was able to get both phone to work for few hours then it'll stopped working. I don't know if it's because I was switching it back and forth but I'm not able to get the message to pop up or connects to Tmobile network..

Putting reminder to check after 6 months to see if it got unlocked , fingers crossed
I heard if the phone was in the batch before the policy changes, it would still unlocked at 6 months, e.g I bought my iPhone 11 after they changed to 1 year, still unlocked at 6 months

so wait this phone unlocks one year automatically and only requires one year of service with it to get this price? Also I was asking if another T-Mobile network would work that's why I was asking about mint.

https://m.gsmarena.com/compare.ph...12251I%27m not so sure. That 128GB internal is a deal breaker for me. I'd rather go with the Edge+ 2023.
The camera on the Edge is miserable. Otherwise you can root, use custom Android 16, 512gb, longer battery, nicer design (to me), easy to unlock, and cheaper.
