all of the specs are effectively the same until you get to the os updates. the edge+ is only getting 3 updates from 2023. and the s25fe will have android 23/ one ui 15. different world over there.
the chip is also better on the s25fe. only downside here is the storage.


this is the edge+ final year of os update. it is already eol

Can I activate this phone with the sim in it, and then right after take that sim and put it in another phone and put the Galaxy in a drawer for a year? Will it still unlock even if I use the sim in a new phone ?

One more data point. Activated with old T-mo sim and let it install carrier stuff while in a microwave.
Then threw a real T-mo sim in it and everything was fine for 12 hours, worked great.
Never activated on Metro, no Metro esim

woke up this morning and its not working, kicked off the network. womp womp.
still no Metro esim, so this looks to be on the T-mo side

its a good thing trump banned all chinese phones so we can all pay 10,000 for our choices of samsung or apple nothing else. hurrah (no) competition

I have a question about unlock. After I activated my Metro phone, I switched my line to another phone and let the line expired, so will my Metro phone be unlocked after 1 year?

When does the discount show up? I get all the way to the enter payment part and it's still showing the full price. I did order a phone from them a few months ago. Is that why the discount isn't showing?
