Can't blame someone for jumping on this deal from Harbor freight, just don't kid yourself that it is Klein.

This is not Klein, more like an Asian copy. The branding on the knife and scissors is stamped on the genuine Klein. Doyle is not going to bother refinishing and carbon etching their name on a Klein product. Plus, the sheath has less riveting.

Where do you think Klein is made? USA? This ship sailed 30 years ago.
You are wrong on both counts. "Klein tools #46037" and many other products with their brand, are still made in the USA. Sure, they have sourced from overseas like most other companies, I've even bought German made Klein wire strippers. IF you want to pay the price, step away from HF long enough to check out the electrical dept at Lowes, or shop online at Amazon. Seek and ye shall find.

Did you get yours at Temu, or a flea market?
I must confess that I do not have this version, I bought mine 15 years ago when I was working as an apprentice electrician on a construction site. We were told that this was the only knife we would be permitted to use. Back then the set had a tan full grain leather sheath. It turned out that I used a shovel more than any other tool. I haven't used it much since, don't know where the sheath ended up, but the knife ended up in a drawer. The scissors have gotten a little bit of use.
If you're calling BS on other Klein tools, in the past year I have purchased three different pairs of adjustable pliers that are made in the USA. They were new models that appear to have been made to compete with Knipex Cobra pliers. They were not cheap and I was feeling patriotic at the time. I tend to reach for my Knipex tools though.

The scissors and sheath are made in the US. The scissors now have the brand carbon etched, unlike one of the pictures on Klein's website.
The knife is not identified as far as I can tell, so it is likely imported, probably Chinese.
I looked for this locally at the typical big box stores, but can't find it. At the current price, and given that it is more of a specialty tool, no surprise.
Klein has went the way of other tool makers, but they still have a good selection of hand tools that are US made, particularly pliers. Anything below $20 is usually an import.
