"Bonded" Leather... skip unless it's going to never be used....
Bonded leather will peel even if you don't use it. It's garbage and ruins anything it's connected to.

1. Amazingly the 'leather' has held up - no peeling.
2. The cushion has not compressed much at the base after thousands of hours usage. However I have an additional pad I sit on the bottom (this nay have increased the longevity)
3. The 'buttons' on the back - well a couple of those came off - I blame the cat for trying to eat them.
4. The pneumatic base still keeps compressions so it stays at the height I set it vs other office chairs I have had that lose seal over time and wont hold.
5. I replaced the cheap plastic casters with nice rubber wood floor casters so I can't comment on them other than I recommend doing this for ANY chair.
6. The arm and base framework is thick plastic with a faux wood finish. It has held up no cracks, piston is still tight, chair does not creek and I'm not exactly gentle on it. I have broken several office chairs over my career, many much more expensive models.
7. It still looks nice - would look new ish if the cat didn't have claw marks and ate the buttons.
I know we have many 'expert' naysayers on here and agree bonded leather is not always very good. But I paid $99 for it 3 years ago and it has been a good chair - I have had much worse chair experiences. For $60 I think you can't go wrong in a climate controlled environment.
