A lot of people use this controller as a page turner for e-readers. Because it's one of the cheaper bluetooth controllers that includes keyboard mode, it works with nearly every device.

Can you tell me more? How does one set this up like that? I'd love to use something like this in conjunction with Feedly on a laptop or iPad, or even a phone.

I use this as a page turner on my ipad with a reading app. It does the job great when it works. I don't know if it's the device or ios but every few days it acts up saying device not found in a banner across the top. And then it's a pain to get it working again. I did a firmware update yesterday so we'll see if it works better.

You can put the device into keyboard mode and assign keys to each button through their software. It's good for turning pages in books or slideshow presentations, or for studying with Anki, etc.

You can find dedicated 'clicker' remotes designed for that purpose at the same price or less, but this one can double as a usable (if your hands are small) game controller, making it potentially a good value.

one comment on amazon reads:
Disappointed – Doesn't Stay Paired with Tesla Model Y

I had high hopes for this compact remote control. On paper, it seemed like the perfect little gadget for on-the-go use — especially for my Tesla Model Y Juniper. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a major letdown.

I tried pairing it multiple times, and while it would initially show as connected, the connection would quickly drop. It simply won't stay paired, making it unreliable and ultimately useless for my needs. From what I've heard, this controller should work with Tesla models, but that definitely wasn't my experience.

If you're searching for a small, portable remote to use with your Tesla, I'd recommend skipping this one. It's just not worth the hassle. Keep looking — this isn't the solution you're hoping for.

that's so sad. I was thinking of getting it for my Tesla and my current controller takes a lot of space.

For a minute there I thought you were going to reveal the code for unlocking unlimited lives in Contra. Thankfully it's still safe.
