Why would you need impact sockets this small? Bolts this small will simply break off with use of impact.

Because then you can buy the cool broken bolt extractor kit. jk /s It looks like they are naming it impact but expect you to use the included ratchet to me. So the marketing people got included.

I use my 1/4" drive SK impact stuff all the time.

I mainly use them with 1/4" drive torque ratchets.
