It's sus when things like this happen. Your question should be did SD remove a users post so SD can get a kickback?

Bought one of these a while back and have been trying to kill it for a while (I wanted a vitamix, wife said no and bought this instead), it just keeps going. Have to give it to bullet they make a solid product. Not in need of one but this seems like a solid deal.

I've owned this blender for like 4 years now and it's been great. The only thing I don't like about it is that you cannot remove the bottom part where the blade is for a deep clean. I've tried.. Unless there's some specialized tool that's needed.

Sure, maybe it's conjecture—but it's hardly baseless. In every corporate environment I've worked in or observed, bonuses are tied to measurable performance. It's naive to think visibility or post frequency wouldn't factor into that equation—especially when you're looking at staff with 20,000+ deals posted. 🧐
I can see why you'd be suspicious, but Deal Hunters are very unlikely to see any updates to expired deals since they have their hands full looking for new deals and checking on their own posts. It's not unusual for them to independently find deals and repost each other.

Staff do kind of have unfair advantage since they are on the clock and might be using posting tools, but the current site structure is based on time, so dropping them to second place when it's a close finish is something that might come in a future update. For now you are sharing credit for finding the deal in the first post.

I got this last year during cybermonday for even lower, but of course, thats more than 2 months away. If you can wait, thats the time to get the best price for sure.

As far as the product itself, it is a good value and performs great as a blender, you cant go wrong. Only thing I do not like is the shape of the big jar is a little awkward. Also if you invert the big jar in the dishwasher, water collects in the base which is mildly annoying. Strange that they didnt put holes to drain the water out. I also have a Bella pro blender and they did put drain holes in the base of the jar. Still for the price that I got the nutribullet, Im okay with it.

I've cycled through several blenders in this price range, and not one has had drainage holes—didn't even know that was a thing.

I also steer clear of the dishwasher. Between the heat and harsh detergents, it's just not worth the wear and tear on plastic components.

Just speaking broadly—but like most companies today, Slickdeals likely leverages AI tools, which (as you pointed out) can create uneven playing fields. I'm early retired from tech, so I've seen firsthand how real that dynamic is. It's not far-fetched to imagine AI doing all the heavy lifting: ingesting data from Slickdealers and the broader web, then surfacing curated deal alerts for staff to post.

Out of curiosity, I did a brief search and according to Gemini, Slickdeals uses AI through a partnership with Apify to power its deal-finding and evaluation systems. They also offer a Search Scraper API, which enables programmatic data extraction—could essentially automate the hunt for deals across platforms.

And yes, one of the other admins DMed me and confirmed I had commented the deal prior to either of our posts, so I was eventually credited with the find. I thought that was fair, but I'm definitely going to be more cautious about commenting on deals I plan to post moving forward. Lesson learned.

IDK, I have also used blenders for the last few years nearly daily, I always use the dishwasher and not had any issues with damage to blender jars. I usually use natural dishwasher detergent with no scent such as 7th generation.

The Bella professional blender which was sold at Best Buy did have drainage holes at the base and in my opinion is a better blender overall in terms of design. It performs just as well as the Nutribullet. It didnt come with the smaller jars tho. It was on clearance and they prob dont make it anymore. Not sure why as it is a great product.
