Yah it's not super flavorful, but still good. I throw a bunch of powdered peanut butter in with it. : chef's kiss:

Does this brand do like Fruity Pebbles and such?

I just can't stand fake sweeteners. If this doesn't have those then I'm down to try it.

Yes, they do have a Fruity Pebbles Flavor. Got some from here a while back. It's pretty good

The majority of protein powders are going to have sweeteners that have little, to no calories. Doesn't make sense for it to be loaded with sugar if you're going to the gym. This is a middle of the road protein powder. You want pure whey protein isolate for the good stuff. But, for the price, this is serviceable.

PSA: It contains Stevia/Sucralose

Got this Oct 2024 for $15.04 before tax on a similar Slick Deals front page deal. Just for those wondering.

Taste is rather artificial, but not bad. I ended up going 50-50 with it and regular vanilla protein, and put it in my overnight oats. Good quality protein, mixed reasonably well. Just a little fake tasting.

I disagree about the sugar comment, it makes perfect sense to use real sugar. If anything, protein powder should be the one thing with sugar. The one sweet thing you allow yourself. Most folks, even fitness centered people, aren't eating/drinking 100% healthy, that's just the reality, so having the protein shake being the one unhealthy/delicious/sweet thing you allow yourself per day makes perfect sense to me. Makes it easier to not eat other sweets. It satisfies that sugar craving more so than a protein shake with fake sugar.

Btw, are there any protein powders on the market that use real sugar that use high quality protein? I haven't heard of or looked into any. Seems like an untapped market. Protein powders that genuinely taste good. I mean there are like a handful of protein powders that use fake sweeteners that don't taste like chemically manufactured cancer, but the majority of them do, and I feel like a company that goes against the trend of artificial sweeteners in everything might do pretty well.

A little sugar is fine, but I prefer to make my own protein shake and leave the garbage out. Until there's proof that artificial sweeteners don't cause adverse health reactions, I'll stick to this for my protein supplement:

Not to mention, almost 30% of the serving size is junk (not protein powder). hard pass for me

Will this give me nuclear farts like the Dymatize ISO100 does?

I have this and I think it's quite delicious, especially if mixed well with whole milk. Tastes like a milkshake.

While I understand where you are coming from, I don't think most people would feel that way. If their was a market for protein with sugar, we would see more of that in the space. It is already super saturated.

If anything iso100 should not give you farts, it's isolate which means almost no dairy or carbs. In fact I doubt that's the problem. Are you sure nothing else you eat might explain the nuclear farts? It's almost certainly not whey isolate.
