I bought one of these at this price maybe a month ago (a price alert hit that I set in 2017!!) and it's been good. Came 95% assembled in a big box (which was a surprise) reel action is smooth and easy. It's not gonna last as long as my heavy metal hose cart, but it looks nicer to be left outside and is actually easier to use.

yes they should be. i buy this every 1-2 years because the wife likes the look. as soon as theres a storm the lid will open and the hinge tabs will break off. works fine afterwards but lid will blow down the street more often, i tie mine to the base with a string. each time i replace i transfer the same copper tubes that i use to replace the flimsy plastic horizontal rods the fairlead travels back and forth on. it eventually gets thrown away when it leaks at the rotating assembly... you can get an extra few months out of it by prying it apart and slopping a vaseline type lubricant in there (like pool and hot tub pipes use)...
