I love the one I bought for my PC. Don't need the Switch version, but they make good controllers.

I've never been a fan of 3rd party controllers but I wanted a controller with a dock. Been using this controller for the past few months and its been great.

I got a similar one to this made by 8Bitdo from Temu last years. It's really nice. The dock is a nice touch. Hooked it up to my Switch and Switch 2 with no problems. It was at least as responsive as the first party controllers. I haven't gotten the Switch 2 Pro so I can't compare it to that, but I like it as much as the original Switch pro.

One of the product images show the A and B buttons swapped, but the Amazon description doesn't mention swappable physical buttons. Anyone know which it is?

These actually use TMR which is a step above Hall Effect.

This is the "Ultimate 2 Bluetooth" which is essentially a Switch/2 controller.

The "Ultimate 2 Wireless" has has more of the Xbox layout (and also has Bluetooth)

The buttons aren't physically swappable, but you can remap them through software.

I have a couple of these, as well as the original Ultimate. The major changes from the Ultimate 1 are the TMR joysticks, the triggers can be changed from linear hall effect to essentially just buttons, and the addition of L4 and R4 buttons.
The major downside is the D-Pad has been changed to be much more sensitive to the point that's it's not useable for me in games like Celeste. I can easily cause the controller to input diagonal even though my thumb is only on either the right or left side of the D-Pad, because any pressure that isn't centered on the left or the right is enough to also cause it to register up/down, causing a diagonal input.
Bottomline, if you are only using the joysticks this is a great controller. If you want to use the D-Pad for a precision platformer, I don't recommend it.

FYI the branding makes it confusing, but the Ultimate 2 for Switch has both Bluetooth and 2.4 just like the XBox version.

dude love this edition of the controller too. I got like 4 different 8bitdo controllers and this one is my favorite in look and feel by far!

Great controller, not so great quality control. My first one from April developed a loud clack between the right trigger and bumper after about a month. Running a Google search shows this to be a common development. The second controller I got had a soft L-trigger when set to the rapid/button mode. The second and third controllers had joysticks miscalibrated out of the box, though you can recalibrate them pretty easily (procedure in the manual). The third controler's face buttons sit a tad lower than the other two which is noticeable using them back-to-back.

I have a few of these controllers.. When I went to buy the Ultimate 2 Wireless, I almost bought the Ultimate 2.4G (which also has bluetooth). Just all very confusing.

They need different names, and not just variations of "Ultimate"

I bought one of these a few months back and it's been my main PC controller ever since. It's only flaw is the D-pad feels like bit of a downgrade compared to D-pad on the 8bitdo Pro and isn't ideal for playing retro games in my experience.
