The "Ultimate 2 Wireless" has has more of the Xbox layout (and also has Bluetooth)
The buttons aren't physically swappable, but you can remap them through software.
The major downside is the D-Pad has been changed to be much more sensitive to the point that's it's not useable for me in games like Celeste. I can easily cause the controller to input diagonal even though my thumb is only on either the right or left side of the D-Pad, because any pressure that isn't centered on the left or the right is enough to also cause it to register up/down, causing a diagonal input.
Bottomline, if you are only using the joysticks this is a great controller. If you want to use the D-Pad for a precision platformer, I don't recommend it.
They need different names, and not just variations of "Ultimate"
