My sis just got these for her home + an Arc ultra soundbar. Could era 100s be added as surrounds to complete an atmos system, or can this only be done with era 300s

Anyone who is interested in purchasing sonance from Bestbuy should know that any Sonance model that has "MAG" in their model number is designed for BestBuy. They use leftover parts from their main lineup to make these so cheap. And they will always be on and off sale becuase they are designed to be. "MAG" series only comes with one year warranty while their main models have lifetime warranty.
This is not to say that these are bad speakers or no one should buy it. Just something one should know before buying them.

I'm thinking of doing the same setup of these plus an Arc. Did she use a sonos amp to power the in-ceiling speakers?

You NEED to use sonos amp if you want to use any kind of passive speakers and Sonos speakers together

She's oblivious to what's being done. She hired some audio guy to set up the sound system for her new home, and he's apparently going with Sonos for every room.

Terrible speakers. 6Rs actually sounded better than 8Rs but I returned both. Landed on Klipsch CDT-5800-C.. almost no complaints.
