Didn't they change their pepper suppliers so it doesn't taste the same anymore?
Correct, the old supplier makes their own sriracha sauce, underwood ranch
Huy Fong's sriracha has mostly been restored to its former glory. The one I bought in May of this year tasted like the original. I really couldn't tell any difference.
They could not meet the demand because their source won't or can't expand to grow more so they tried find other sources of pepper and got sued because originally to convince the farm to grow that hot pepper they agree to only get the pepper from that farm.
That's not exactly what happened. Their sole supplier committed to a land lease and producing more based on being the sole supplier, meanwhile other suppliers were sourced at the same time leading to the lawsuit.
