Sony has simply priced themselves out of the market. They arguably make the best sets…but they simply aren't worth the premium for most people. And thus - it's a choice between Samsung or LG for those looking for a high-end TV

I am looking at this tv right now… and I think I have to agree.

With my old LG B7 - the stand was fancy, the aluminum exterior was fancy… it really felt like a premium product, despite not being the high end model.

I was pretty underwhelmed when I opened this one up. No real sense of occasion. Just a great picture with a slight improvement on glare.
I'm happy with it, but I feel a bit bamboozled. Probably my last Sony purchase.

I paid 2600. Pretty good price here.

They're not even better in every area. And when they are better, it's not so much as to warrant the crazy price. LG every day of the week for me. Samsung has too many problems and no Dolby Vision.

I guess Sony just rather sell less of these at their higher profit margin.

Terrible price for a two year old tv.
