I don't have the Meater, but do have this. It's been very reliable and most importantly accurate in line with my thermapen. Battery life is great. You do need a large enough piece of meat to take advantage of all the sensors.

Good deal. I got the 2 pack version when on sale at Costco for Christmas last year. It has been great and I use it all the time. The base having wifi is great since my grill is on the far side of the patio from the kitchen, so I still get notifications when not near the grill. The app tells you when to flip the steak and when to pull for rest. Overall I have been very happy.

I've had other Inkbird probes and have had mixed luck with them but customer support was great. That said the ChefIIQ probes supposedly do multiple internal measures vs a single measure for inkbird. I'd say if you're looking for a starter set and need 4 probes go for the Inkbird. If you want the more fancy probes maybe try the Costco version of the Chef iQ?

Huge fan of my Chef iQ probes. Best part is they nail the meat in 1 flip so i don't need to sit around and wait by the grill eyeballing it. Apps easy and straight forward. Happy customer. I have bought more as gifts for friends because of how much i enjoy mine. Makes my life easier and my dinner tastier
