Reviews on Bestbuy and target are almost all from paid giveaways, very few legitimate reviews of the unit. Reviews on amazon as well as others state the unit works, but is limited in use compared to other products on the market, Probably best to spend your money more wisely and get something that is more modern and is not limited in features.

I have a couple of these from when Lowe's cleared them out. No issues. They look nice, are easy to use, and you can control them remotely through the app.

I don't know what features are lacking. It doesn't have any AI garbage that will inevitably set an uncomfortable temp. I haven't tried the smart home integration and can't comment on that.

Knowing ge, they probably sell every bit of info they can to make an extra penny. Worst company

Nice price, but kinda ugly. 2.4GHz wifi only (no 5GHz support.)

No geofencing (and no IFTTT support, so no workaround to a lack of geofencing) and doesn't support Apple HomeKit. Bummer! Those two things and wifi/bluetooth are about all I want out of a smart thermostat. I've still got a pretty basic one (not like "house built in the 70's" basic, but "LCD screen and up and down buttons and that's it" basic) and want to upgrade, but don't want anything made by Amazon or Google. Options are limited, especially at this price point.

While not the best looking, I'd still rank it better than 90% of what's at your local big box store.

That review might be old. The Cync app shows HomeKit & Siri under voice integration. I can't confirm it works since I don't use.

Installed 2 over the weekend. They work as needed. Just wanted something that can be controlled remotely. Don't really care about other bells and whistles. Looks pretty nice.

I would skip if you use Home Assistant.

I purchased 8 of their Cync color lightbulbs and they were garbage. If this thermostat works the same then it is garbage too. Another poster said it worked fine tho so that's great.

The app has absolutely unacceptable level of permission requirements to your smart phone and devices.

Most companies do this. You can request not to sell info.

Been using for a while when Lowe's put these on clearance. Works really well, always has connectivity. Better than the nest at my brother's place which he's always complaining has a mind of its own. Only gripe is usage data is dumb just showing bar graph and everyonce in a while it shows it was on all night when it wasn't and isn't.
