Can the base be used to charge the Apple watch as well or is it just for Airpods?

I bought one last week and dropped it and cracked the phone holder. Nice holder, just don't have butter fingers like me.

Are these qi2 or MagSafe certified at all?

Every single one that I have tried always cooks the phone so hot.

They all draw 10w of power from the charger and maybe transfer 5w-7.5w to the phone.
Wasting 5w-2.5w as heat.
An iPhone CPU won't even output that much heat during intense gaming, and gaming gets the phone hot as hell.

I have tried ESR, Anker MagSafe battery, and some other Chinese Amazon brands. Never found one that didn't cook the phone.

Maybe qi2 certified is better?
Maybe apple MagSafe oem is better? But apple does not make a charging stand.
