I also mentioned in the other thread that the controller and all the power and wiring is in an unsealed outlet box under the bike with two huge holes cut on the sides for the wires to get frayed on. Also, one big puddle could fill this box with water. I ordered rubber grommets for 5 bucks, and will install with a little silicone when they come in to seal them. I just wanted all of you to be aware since most of you won't realize rhis.
I feel this bike is the modern day equivalent of the classic red scooter. The pedals work for shorter people, but it's so heavy, it's really not realistic to equate it as a 'moutain bike'. I think it's meant for urban uses such as the guy on YouTube doing doordash.
All parts were included and arrived as described on the product page. The front and rear brake were calibrated correctly on arrival. The rear derailleur was also per-calibrated out of the box. Assembly involves mounting the handlebars, mounting the rear rack, attaching the front wheel, attaching front and rear lights, and affixing the pedals. The bike comes with all the tools required for assembly. Assembly took roughly 30-40 minutes on my front porch. The shifter and derailleur are branded Shimano parts.
The bike is quick! I weigh 200lbs (91kg) and the bike gets up to speed within 2-4 seconds on pedal assist setting 3. With a 200lb rider the bike seems to max out at 22 miles per hour on flat ground. The bike shifts easily through it's 7 pedal gears. At maximum speed you will not be able to add power to the bike with the pedals, you will be spinning the pedals or 'ghost pedaling' on pedal assist setting 3; even in the highest gear. This is true of basically all e-bikes that reach this speed.
I am 5'10" (178cm) and the bike fits me, but I feel I am toward the maximum height to ride comfortably. Exercise caution if you are > 6' tall.
I have not tested the range or charging speed yet.
The brakes work, but they are mechanical brakes. Exercise caution on a bike this heavy with mechanical brakes, because they do not stop the bike immediately. They slow down the bike and bring it to a gradual stop over a short distance.
If you order this bike you should immediately take action to weatherproof the controller. The controller is in a compartment beneath the battery. The wires that come out of this compartment are run through completely unsealed holes. These holes expose the very sensitive electronic controller to potential atmospheric dust and water. The compartment is also placed in a way that is likely to cause the rear wheel to splash puddle water into the wire hole. This repair should done IMMEDIATELY after you construct the bike. Leaving this hole unsealed will destroy your bike eventually.
Personally, I am in love with this quick little bike. It is an great value for the price. The quality of the frame and the overall care that was obviously put into it's production and shipping genuinely surprised me. I don't understand how they can sell such a well constructed bike, with a 13AH battery, and a powerful 750W motor for the price I paid. I guess economies of scale really produce wonders.
That's the review I would have left on ali-express if they allowed more than 1000 characters. I will have to whittle it down. Just wanted to share my experience with other slick-deals users. Just got mine and noticed the front wheel seems misaligned, it sits too close on one side and rubs against the fork. Anyone else run into this issue?
You do have the brake disk in the caliper right?
A front wheel with a disc brake needs to be dished. The disc rotor takes up space on one side of the hub, causing the hub flanges to be offset. This offset requires the wheel to be laced with unequal spoke tensions and lengths to correctly center the rim between the fork dropouts, a process known as dishing.
Same concept applies to the rear wheel (7 speed cassette).

Do not over torque or you will damage the nipple.
I'm not going to review bomb here but wanted to add that as I previously mentioned I received a multiple defective bike with front brakes broke in half, rear wheel likely bent so the motor does not work well and whines and of course then the rear brakes scape upon each rotation making this bike junk and the sellers solution was a $30 refund and then I brought the situation back up to Aliexpress since that was ridiculous and their chat seemed very favorable to me in their response and apology(probably AI I guess now). So now Aliexpress responded with an offer of $47 refund!?!
Buyer beware!!! Yes, great deal if everything is perfect but complete nightmare if defective. Dang, I have avoided buying from this place for this very reason and the first time i do this happens.🤬
So Aliexpress isn't allowing you to return the bike for free and get a full refund?
They first told me to message the seller(in China so timing is not ideal) and they first said how about a $25 partial refund then went to $35 after I sent videos clearly showing the broken front brake and the back wheel rubbing saying the bike is functional to which I said definitely not and that the video clearly shows it's broken. Then the following day they messaged and said after closely reviewing the videos I am correct that there is a problem so how about $45 back for repairs which is obviously a joke. If you can get a bike place to even look at it that'll cost about $45.

Buy with CC and file a dispute charge with the CC company. Just make sure that the seller does not have a clause regarding return fee at the time of purchase. Avoid debit card transaction.

Yes, the brake disc is seated in the caliper correctly. The issue seems to be that when the wheel is fully seated in the fork, one side of the tire rubs against the fork leg
Well if the disk is in the caliper, that side should be the proper distance, and it should be straight. if it wasnt...the disk wouldn't seat. Is there a nut on the wheel axel shaft on both sides (just inside of the fork)? Maybe they forgot the nut?
