Anybody use this brand of battery before? Is it any good? Looking for one of these for my trolling motor.
This type of battery is great for trolling motors. I don't know about this brand but I bought another brand and it's 1/2 the weight of my 50ah AGM battery and has twice the capacity (100ah). I'm loving it. The only downside is when it runs out, it runs out. It doesn't just run slower for a while before dying. So you need to keep an eye on the voltage. But they'll run a trolling motor for a LONG time.

anyone know if this can work as a car battery?
Good question to ask but no because lithium iron phosphate would get destroyed by the cars alternator. The chemistry of this battery is a lot closer to the battery in your phone, than it is the lead acid or AGM battery in a car. The typical battery in a car has way stronger cranking amps, and is designed to get charged to 14.8v or so when running. In fact lead acid style batteries work better in the 50% empty to full range, so even though they have an amp hour rating (aH) it's technically alot less because as it drains, it slows down and gets weaker. But lithium iron phosphate will drain and maintain its its power all the way to zero. So a battery like this is better for trolling motors or solar battery systems. RVs, camping etc.

I'd be nervous to get one of these because not knowing the brand. I would feel more comfortable with an eco worthy.

What kind of charger would one need to install this in a car to power a fridge for example? Also how long would a 100Ah battery run an average sized fridge in the car? How low can this safely be discharged?
it would work fine. Car fridges only take 50-100w. This would last at least 12 hrs at that rate.

just to add to the other no's and another reason..... lead acid battery is dumb, just the acid, plates and the structure..... lifepo4 battery has electronics in it, the battery chemistry AND the electronics do not take well the the environment in an engine compartment the heat, vibrations, temp cycling.... nevermind the constant charge voltage all of it contributes to a very short lifespan for a lifepo4 battery in that environment.

I've been researching the same questions. 2 tests show 12v coolers average about 12 watts per hour so this 100ah would last about 4 days. Lifepo4 batteries can be discharged completely to 0% while other battery chemistries you'd want to stop at 50% discharge. You'd need a dc-to-dc converter to charge this in a vehicle if required as the optimum charge rate is 14.4-14.6v while car alternators aren't as precise. Otherwise, you can get an inexpensive ac-to-dc charger on amazon for less and charge at home. A 20 amp charger is optimal but will probably work with less powerful chargers like 6-10 amps. It'll just take longer. Keep in mind that if you're intending on using this every summer and not often, leave it at 50-70% state of charge for storage. Otherwise you risk decreasing its life expectancy.

And no, this battery won't blow up or catch fire if you plug it in directly to your car. Lifepo4 battery chemistry is very stable. Your alternator might blow up or catch fire though. (honestly I have no idea). lol

Wrong. The Lifepo4 battery chemistry is irrelevant as the charger and buck convertor sits between the cells and the terminals. Alternator output is extremely noisy and variable - the charger isn't built for this.

Correct.

Do these types of batteries offgas? Should they be in an enclosure when mounting inside a vehicle?

using a no name trolling motor is a sure way to get stranded in the middle of the lake...

Can these be mounted in parallel for a 12-volt RV?
