I saw these and pretty much all of the summer clearance stuff cheaper in store than shown on their app for shipping or delivery.
This item in particular was $3.
Of course, YMMV!

Same! There was 100 packs on clearance at my store for $3 so gona wait for them to drop again before getting some lol

These are good for kids but they're "sensitive." Any squeeze will cause water to leak out. regardless, they won't hurt when thrown.

Those are likely one time use. Those little rubber will get everywhere in the yard unless you play at the park. These are reusable.

it was this item. I remember them specifically being 50 cents each, but still realized id need to buy way too many yo duplicate the fun of a water balloon fight.

3 balloons each would be a pretty lame water balloon fight. I could see dropping $20 to get four packs. 12 each (for two people) would still be fun enough for most kids. The question is, do they hold up well over the years or do we expect these to be garbage when we pull them out next summer?

These suck, takes forever to get them all filled up and the water comes out too easy. Paying for the regular self sealed is worth it.
