These invariably provide poor image quality. After trying a few similar ones I spent a bit more on one with a dedicated viewer. It was significantly better.

Just to check the empty cavity between the ears.

I've wanted one of these for a long time. There always seems to be a project where something like this would come in handy (looking in wall cavity most recently) but I didn't want to spend the $30 for the one I've had in my cart for years! For ~$12 this is a no brainer.

I bought a DEPSTECH branded one five years ago and have no complaints about image quality.

$12 is pretty wild... i cant imagine the camera quality will be great. phone screen at least equalizes that side though. i have a depstech and its screen is so atrocious. i thought it broke itself but it started workign again. Still, i acquired a dxztoz unit (best overall from a recent project farm showdown). not a very long cable but it has the articulation which works well and cable is flexible while holding its shape well.
