This supports 8 Displays simultaneously, 3 via the DP ports from Motherboard, 4 from the installed Graphics Card's 4 DisplayPort out and one via the Thunderbolt 4 Type-C Port.

Zero idea why someone downvoted you -- that's good information to know.

BoA has rewards on lonovo.com (but new account). I bought one P3 Ultra Gen2 last week, the account associated with BoA has cheaper price than my education account.
I strongly recommended to contact the customer service to make sure if Thunderbolt 4 is included in this configuration. Though Thunderbolt 4 is shown in the picture and displayed in the configuration, but mine (Ultra 235, 16GB ECC, no GPU) doesn't have Thunderbolt in the back, so I think I would return it.
Anyway, this tiny machine is really a good one for ALL-FLASH NAS, you can easily put 7 NVME with 3 10GbE ports (the pcie adapter from QNAP). You can use ECC ram, and also the CPU has at least 12 TOPS NPU, good enough to host scrypted NVR with object recognition and immich machine learning.

It is a SFF Desktop, not a mini PC. So, apart from the custom form factor motherboard, everything can be upgraded, including CPU, Ram, Storage, Network Card and Graphics card. For GPU, it needs to be drawing power from PCIe Gen 5 slot, around 70-75W Max and SFF Dual slot design. But Nvidia has plenty of Workstation Graphics card on that form factor, including RTX 4000 Ada with 20GB Video memory. The upcoming Intel Pro B50 will fit as well.

Am I one of the few that see this as a great deal for a small powerhouse that sips electricity?
I love/hate Slick deals! You guys made me do it again (buy something I want but don't really need)!
Don't forget to check out all the possible additional discounts available (student, military, senior, etc.). I scored it for $1566.55 (senior).🙂
Thanks for a super upgrade for a HTPC!

Do I get it correctly? Only two SODIMM laptop memory slots? For what I do, I usually max out my RAM (lot's of VMs on Hyper-V), so this might not be the most cost-efficient system - so far I can see it costing me $492 for two modules, and making this a $2k device.

This is a workstation. For that use case, you should be looking at servers.
