I was hunting for a cheap cordless chainsaw. I have other Hart 40V tools (leaf blower and push mower), and I have been very happy with them. I stumbled upon this on Hart's website and thought it was pretty slick for the price.

It is the chainsaw kit (brushless chainsaw, battery, charger, hard case) and safety glasses for $149 (before tax). Shipping was free for my zip 62613. I did have to pay sales tax so the total was $161.29.

The kit without the glasses is around $100 more elsewhere.

I've owned this chainsaw for a couple of years. No complaints. Solid deal IMO.

I am happy to hear that! I can't wait to start using it. It beats dragging an extension cord or generator around a larger yard to do cleanup.
