Fyi, from what I can gather during my search, the slo roller in the classic III is Teflon coated and can't survive high heat. It often flakes off as well.
Many have suggested the classic 2 instead.

It still comes with the ceramic plates in addition to the slo roller. At this price, the classic three is a great deal. I have a big Joe 3 and do not use the slo roller, I believe it's marketing hype.
