Don't know if this kind of clothing is new or not but they're so nice and amazing to use, especially during the summer. I only found out about these when thrift shopping

I just wished they had pockets... If they did, I would wear them for hiking

How is the fit? The size chart link goes to women's.

I was goofing around in the outdoors section of my local walmart and they had Reef and Salt Life long sleeve shirts, hooded and not along with shorts made of the same material on clearance for $10 each.

So it says it's made of polyester and spandex. Is it breathable like cotton? I like the protection of a light hooded shirt while walking my dog but I don't want to be sweating like crazy underneath...

i'd like to know too. I'm normally between M & L since I'm 5'8" but chest is 42 and M tight on my arms

here's my take but some people here will violently disagree. This will probably get thumbs downs. I've had nice poly spandex shirts and crappy ones, cotton rocks but its getting harder to find 100% cotton shirts for active wear specially with a hood. Plus if you're going to sweat heavily cotton will hold the moisture while poly will wick it away from your body.therefore is a better choice for active wear. For daily use specially on hot days cotton is nice but poly is still lighter and cooler for ME. Again many will disagree. For winter sports, I never wear anything cotton because you will sweat and literally freeze your butt off.

basically 100% poly. Feels nasty on skin IMO.
The best is a poly/cotton blend. 50/50 or even a 60/40 or 40/60. Still feels nice on skin like cotton but wont shrink (as much) nor wrinkle. Best of both worlds. This stuff you can wear all day everyday any day.

These sunshirt and other 100% poly stuff is for certain scenarios only, training, swimming, etc.

Pass if you are just trying to wear casually.

id say the fit seems about right....

i bought both M and L to figure it out, i mean this is a sun shirt so i had to think about the intention. im 5,10 chest is 38.

am between M and L , have to factor out im losing weight... M ended seeming accurate in the shoulders and underarms, where L just seemed too big even at the cuffs.

i saw grey/black in the thumbnail and that caught my attention..have some henleys, baseballl shirts in that combo. and i do like what i got. now im gonna get black. besides the spf and sun shirt factor, honestly never thought about wearing a sun shirt before but this seems ok enough. didnt like how all these kind of veer dark, and kind of looks assasin's creedy- but whatever, price is right

i think i could work out in these.

i dont really have an opinion on polyester except worrying about skin absorption of microplastic. i guess im one of those that dont mind it. also ill mention i have a nephew who basically wore a polyester orange hoodie for maybe 6 months straight. so some people dont mind i guess
