Hard to see ~10x+ the value compared to no-name competing products that arguably work about as well but cost $20-$30.

I'd like to know which competing products work as well for 10%. I'm on the fence between this saw and keeping my M12 Hatchet. This seems like a pretty good deal.

I'm showing it in stock and $210 in-store clearance pricing at the 3 stores near me in Central Florida.

The $499 MSRP seems bonkers, but I guess I'm used to Ryobi pricing...

I bought the M12 + 2 x 5AH HO batteries and ended up buying the M18 one/returning the M12. The safety on the M18 feels more natural and I like having the extra 1-2in bar length.The M18 is larger and slightly heavier but shouldn't be a problem for most folks, though older folks might need both hands to use.

Those cheapo ones have plastic gears and don't last long. I went thru 2 different brands & both broke in no time. Bought one of these and it holds up to all day use. Great little saw.
