Worst item ever! BEWARE, I've used it, they make the dishes have a thick layer of residue was a headache to get it remove.

I use Cascade gel as the prewash (in the little indentation outside where the pod goes) but use pods for the compartment that opens during the main cycle.

AS someone else said, you can pre wash with gel or liquid and sometimes it makes a big difference.

If you run the quick cycle your dishwasher manual probably says not to use pods.
