Reading back through old threads it's a great value for 20 bucks. It's not on sale for 50 quality.

High points:

Keyboard is pretty solid for a membrane type. If you turn off the back lighting the keys go black as if there are no labels on them. And the Illumination is built into the scroll wheel so it's problematic using with Excel etc. Otherwise well built and comfortable.

People like the mouse when new but it dies and gets discarded after a year or two.

I have a CM Devastator keyboard, it's not bad after you do the LED mod. Fairly simple, can be done without soldering if need be. Instructions here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4n4oKf1ATo
But without the mod, yeah, tying LED control to Scroll Lock is insane. Want to see the keys and use Excel at the same time? NOPE!

bought this for my son in December as I built him a gaming PC and forgot the keyboard/mouse combo and about a month ago his mouse started giving issues, so having to replace it. overall it was OK, perhaps even a good deal at this price.

I bought this set the last time it was $20 and overall i'm satisfied with it but there are a few quirks I've experienced. There is no Menu Key on the keyboard which is a bit inconvenient. There is a volume up and a volume down key but no Mute key which is odd to me. Otherwise, the keyboard is quite responsive and the light is customizable so that's neat. Overall, the mouse is a pretty good mouse. I find that its not great when you need to hone in on details on the screen when moving the it slowly, like for graphic design or clicking an edge on a window. Other than that, its a great set for the price.
