Crazy, I had this in my basket at $583 or something, and decided to just wait and removed it. Then, I had second thoughts and re-added it and the price dropped to $549.00. Even better, this product qualified for Amazon payments. So, $105 a month for 4 months. Of course I had to ordered it. Matches my new build that just needed this video card, which ironically also has Asus TUF z790 Motherboard and Asus TUF 360mm AIO water cooling.

This is a great price at $549.00 in my eyes.

yes at 1080p and 1440p it's finemost of the gaming community would of preferred a $400 1440p value gpu but this is all nvidia is giving is a gb105 die for $550

i got an rx9070 instead since nvidia dropped the ball on not just the pricing but the power efficiency; rx 9070 is 4nm while blackwell is still on 5nm; 5070 didn't move the needle as others say

the supers will correct it but the price floor is $500 and up

I have a 12900KS / RTX 5080 build I am going to sell to get the RTX 5090, or get one of those 9800X3D / AMD 9070 XT pre-builts for $2,000+

Nice deal on a really nice version of the 5070. Had I just not bought the msi ventus oc 3 5070 i wouldn't hesitate to buy at this price.

Y'all have been brainwashed into thinking this is a great deal. I would consider this an OKAY price, only because this is an overclocked version of the card that should have always retailed for $549. The fact that scalpers and Nvidia's greed drove the OC price up to $689 does not make this magically a great deal.

Cons:
- 12GB of RAM for $549 is honestly insulting, but I guess it's what we get nowadays. I'm sure this card performs well at 1440p.
- Asus does not have a great reputation for support.

So you actually got it for $420? How does one access this "Amazon Payments"?

I tried the Asus Prime 5070 for a couple of weeks and it worked well for 4k and excellent for 1440p. I was nearly maxing out the RAM on 4k though so I ended up going with a 5080 for smoother 4k performance.

Do you still need to use DLSS for 4K on the 5080?

This is a decent price in this day and age. The only issue is the VRAM size. 16 GB should be mandatory at this price.

My 5080 TUF card gets incredible preformance for a 5080. You can also flash the bios for a higher tpd.
The dual bios is a nice touch as well. You can run one with stock bios and the other with whatever you flash it with.

Edit* I just realized my username is relaxedfruit!? The name generator hates me

Depends on the game. But most AAA games will require DLSS for ultra settings. Even FG if you want 100hz+

It might if the leaks are true about the 5070 super 18gb been the same $550.

I myself am waiting for that...I think the 12gb was on purpose so you might need to upgrade sooner than later.
