Best bet is going to be to use a hot knife. It's like a long thing wire that heats up. I've used a serrated knife before but it's hard to keep the cuts straight when the foam depresses while trying to cut it.

I had a Best Price Mattress memory foam mattress for 10 yrs. It was fantastic. If I hadn't replaced it last month I would be all over this. 110 for a 12" queen mattress is an absolute steal.Personally I don't think cost equates to much for a memory foam mattress. I never buy expensive ones and all of mine have been great.

i guess way cheaper than a 6 inch topper. Might grab a few for the old kid beds for when they're back in town

The reviews on Amazon says it doesn't have fiberglass but I don't know as there are only like two reviews mentioning fiberglass.

Which ones? Reviews on the 12" queen seem fine, 4+ stars with most negative comments being subjective (too hard, too soft, etc.), but some noted about not fully expanding (not all that uncommon with BiB mattress, they usually do expand fully eventually though). What are your expectations for a $100 mattress? Although im even hesitant to bring price into this since I've purchased $2k+ mattress that I felt were terrible.

I was going to buy this, but found some information saying these were produced by "Zinus", currently under a lawsuit for fiberglass.

Personally, the mattresses really don't matter to me anymore. Once you get a 3" memory foam mattress topper, that's the key! A 2" topper is too thin, and a 4" is too thick and hot, and you drown in them, but 3" is magic. You can usually get them for about $50 for a Queen if you watch the deals. This is a steal if you need a mattress

What is the lawsuit about, heath issues inhaling fiberglass?

I believe so, that and/or skin irritation. Mostly probably happens when removing the cover to wash it.

How hard is it to cut a memory foam mattress? I'm thinking of making a few doggy beds. At this price I could make 4-6 beds out of a $35 twin.
