It's because these will expire in 3 weeks. It's perfect if you have a big family so you can finish all 40 bags in 3 weeks.

These are selling for 32 1/2 cents per oz. In stores 8 oz bags go for $3.00 at a reasonable sale price, 37 1/2 cents per ounce.

Date Night, good movie. But seriously, they make more money selling these as stale (30 days from stale) vs throwing them out.

I love a deal, but never get amazon discounted bulk snacks via slickdeals. Slickdeals mods should be ashamed of themselves. (This is well known/in other forums)

Note: Even if you are correct about the dates on this offer, the "Best by" date does not mean the same as "Use by" date or "Expiration" date. These will be fine for several weeks after their "Best by" date. They will start to lose their peak freshness at that point. They should not go stale for many weeks after, if stored properly.
