Trash quality, but it's $1.50 a jar.

This is basically 3 24oz bottles of low-quality pureed tomatoes. But even at $1.50 that's not a bad deal. Just expect to need to impart all the flavor into this. A little extra tomato paste along with some onion and fresh garlic will help boost the lacking flavor and bring it more in line with the moderate brands like Rau's and Carbone.

prego heads above ragu

if u make ur own sauce from scratch, adding a jar of this a good way to stretch it

I'm in for two. Hopefully some of them arrive in one piece. And yeah, if you just use the sauce straight out of a jar, it will be lackluster.

But why not just 24 ounce cans of tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes at that point. If your not just gonna dump it on pasta what's the point

I received 5 of these and 4 were crushed in the box. Luckily each individual bottle was placed in sealed bubbles wrap so the broken glass was contained but still seemed dangerous AF. To their credit I got refunded immediately when I went to chat.

because those have no flavor compared to Prego.
