If your brisket is too large for your grill, you can "arch" it over the Rib-rack.

Old trick, but it works.

Not really. They sell a lot of grills so having accessories is not surprising.

I have this.

In my 18 wsm, you have to trim down a couple of bones so it fits.

Not sure what you mean by arching it over the rib rack.

I'm no smoking expert, but wouldn't this rack do a better job of air flow / smoke flow?

I have one of these, if you do a lot of ribs, definitely worth picking up. Doesn't seem to impact the smoke flow much, though I do flip my ribs mid cook in this thing to get even bark. I do wish it had 6 slots instead of 5, that would make it easier to fit 3 racks into a smaller grill buy cutting them in half, the last one I just lean on it, all good.
