Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank RepFree83

I bought one of these last round and its been great, Ordered another this time for a family member, should arrive next week. These refurbs arrive in the same condition as a new deck (I know because I bought new when the oleds first released)

This probably wont last long, these go out of stock pretty quick, and aren't listed very often (Last refurb listing I know of was in Dec 2024).

"Don't buy now because (insert rumors of Steam Deck 2 being jUsT ArOuNd tHe cOrNeR)"

Jokes aside, this is still the best value & OS among PC handhelds. Yes there are faster handhelds, but they are nowhere near as refined nor supported as a Steam Deck and all cost (some far) more via normal retail channels (not talking about FB marketplace / swap meets / craigslist / past deals that require time machines).

P.S. Plus it can emulate damn near anything you could ever want.

I just clicked through and it shows all but the 64gb LCD Available, try refreshing if that doesn't work, maybe its regional?

BTW: I just tested in firefox and it gives me the result above, but in Edge browser it shows all out of stock, also through the Win Steam app it shows all but the old 64 lcd in stock.

I got a 512 oled refurb last time they popped up. I love this thing. I think it's very worthwhile to buy if you want a great handheld, it's a fantastic device. If your goal is to play the latest AAA games, I think a handheld is probably just the wrong option for you altogether. I play handheld a lot, throw it in the dock, and stream off my PC (not a huge boost in power for me but enough to make it worth it for the more demanding games).

it also depends on the account region I guess. after I switch to US account, it shows available for some models. But I can't check out for OLED512gb. I grabbed 1TB OLED instead. just placed the order. Thanks OP!

If I hadn't bought a used OLED this week, I would be kicking myself for missing the 512gb OLED.

I had an LCD one that was stolen during vacation, so I had been itching to replace it. I loved my SD, and would have loved the OLED upgrade, improved battery life, etc.

There are rumors of the SD2 being worked on, but valve has stated 2027 or later. Do you know how much gaming you can get done in 2 years??

Borderlands 4 doesn't run well on it, if that matters in your decision process…

Thank you!! Repped.

Glad I could help. You can also click on the "normal" Steam Deck and then scroll down past the "new" ones and find the refurb link which shows the different units that are in stock.

I am able to add the 512GB OLED but when I try to go to checkout it doesn't do anything - guessing it's gone despite it not saying out of stock?

Well this sucks - I tried to buy through the website, on different browsers and all it does is refresh. Tried on mobile, same thing but I noticed on mobile it says "We are beta testing this new version of the cart." - great day to beta test!!!! might as well call them Microsoft.
